Tom, maybe could consult with Dave as to what they might prefer.  Perhaps a nut tree for squirrels or a good sturdy shade tree. I could assess in daylight tomorrow, think I have some very transplantable young maple trees of a type that I have successfully moved around out here at Swampdog over the years and they've re-rooted well.  There aren't many conifers native to NW Ohio, soil isn't desirable for them, but it is for oaks, sycamores, maples, ashes (until the emerald ash borer) - classic hardwood arboreal ...Continue Reading
