Dear Friend,
We are following up on our recent email regarding our legal effort to defend the right to submit evidence against top US officials for their participation in genocide to the International Criminal Court (ICC). We'd like to share more about why your financial support is so crucial at this time. While continuing to participate in the ongoing genocide in Palestine, US officials have now launched an illegal war of aggression against Iran. Click here to read TAG's statement on this invasion.
On February 6, 2025, Donald Trump issued an executive order threatening to impose sanctions and penalties against those who assist the ICC in cases involving U.S.officials and their allies. The order has already been used to sanction ICC officials and UN Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese.
We will not be silenced! If we act now, we can ensure that no executive order can take away the right of the people to seek accountability for genocide and war crimes committed by U.S. officials.
In the 15 months since Taxpayers Against Genocide formed, we have pursued accountability through multiple legal channels — in federal court, before the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights, and at the United Nations Human Rights Commission. Each action has expanded the record of U.S. complicity in genocide and war crimes. Now we must defend the right to bring documented evidence to the ICC without fear of retaliation.
Our fundraising campaign is underway, but significant legal work lies ahead. We must raise substantial funds in the coming weeks and months to sustain this effort. If you can afford a donation of $100, $250, $500, $1,000 or more, it would be tremendously helpful at this crucial time in our fund drive. Every contribution, in whatever amount is welcome, as we continue working with our legal counsel to prepare filings and to protect the people's right to access the ICC.
If you believe the powerful must not remain above international law — and that our tax dollars must not fund genocide — then stand with us.
