Senate Bill 172, which passed the Senate 23-8 on June 18, would require public officials and offices to allow federal immigration officers to arrest individuals suspected of being in the country illegally − with or without a warrant.
The bill moves to the House now, with potential implications for local law enforcement and immigration policy in Ohio.
