On April 28, Trump signed and quietly posted a new Executive Order to unleash federal military resources in violation of Posse Comitatus. It's every bit as chilling as Professor Franke describes it further below.
The Trump admin plans to deploy federal and Nat’l Guard troops to quell public protests in direct violation of the 1878 Posse Comitatus Act. We must mobilize immediately to try to head this off before it happens
