From: cynthianna@PROTECTED Seasons Greetings! Are you interested in singing "Carols for Peace in Palestine" this holiday season? Last year, Amjad Doumani organized this event, and a big group of us sang the carols (slightly rewritten carols to bring attention to the plight of the Palestinian people) downtown at the Christmas tree at Promenade Park. (I still have all the music/word sheets and thought about it when I was downtown and saw the Christmas tree set up.) We could carol at another spot(s) this time, but I wanted to get input from any persons who enjoy singing carols about when and where they'd like to join in this way of showing solidarity for those who are suffering in Palestine and Lebanon today.
