Here is why!

The Perry reactor is already 40 years old. It is unsafe to operate for another 20 years for many reasons including, but not limited to:
🔸 aging, deteriorating components and structures
🔸 a hydrogeologically unstable site
🔸 radioactive emissions and leaks into air, land, and water
🔸 tons of highly radioactive waste which remains onsite and is dangerous for hundreds of thousands of years
