Please come hear tonight's special guest speaker, Khalid Turaani! For those who don't know, he is a Palestinian-American advocate for the rights of the people of Palestine. He is the ex Chairman of Refugee Aid Initiative, a charity that focuses on helping refugees and victims of conflicts and disasters. Khalid’s past advocacy engagements include; serving as Executive Director of the Washington based, American Muslims for Jerusalem, AMJ and Director of the Brussels based International Forum on the Mideast, INFORM. Khalid is a frequent guest on international media on issues related to Palestine, the Middle East and the US policy in the region.

 

He just accepted the Executive Director position at CAIR OH and will be moving from Michigan to OH.
