  Sentenced yesterday to nearly 4 years in federal prison for whistleblowing the truth of our drone assassination efforts in Afghanistan. A beautiful, courageous, honorable damaged warrior goes to prison for our hideous sins as an empire. He will spend the rest of his days in gutsy atonement and bravery. It will be painful for him, but he will give much to his world.

  Read his letter, know your own tears of shame at the code of silence our distinctly criminal war machine imposes on its warriors. Reflect on how our normative values reward the lie at the cost of criminalized truth.
