War is Not Entertainment!

The air show this weekend at the airport, besides being a gross display of militarism, will be an opportunity to publicly question why our government continues to make death and destruction the #1 priority of our national budget.

Combined with the fact that the Pentagon is the world's largest institutional consumer of oil and emitter of greenhouse gases, it's appropriate to publicly question why we're contributing to all those problems with a show of military might.

Show up at the main entrance to the airport (11013 Airport Highway, Swanton) at 7:45 a.m. The show begins at 9, and people will be arriving early, so it will no doubt take awhile to find a parking spot. Give yourself some time.

A few banners and signs will be available, but feel free to bring your own. And please pass the word and bring a friend!
