Let's rally at Marcy's next Thursday June 13th at 4:00 pm! One Maritime Plaza.
Join us for a rally in front of Marcy Kaptur's office to ask her to sign onto HR 2354, Prevention of Unconstitutional War with Iran Act of 2019. So far she has declined to cosponsor, citing her concern about sponsoring bills that may make generals second-guess their decisions. We will remind her that the US Constitution grants Congress the sole power to declare war. Marcy Kaptur must NOT relinquish this responsibility to the president or the military. We demand she cosponsor HR 2354 and stop unconstitutional war on Iran! Do your duty, Marcy!

Terry will have a press release soon. Jeff is working on a banner. Tom M. is working with area priests on the Social Justice Committee of the Association of US Catholic Priests (AUSCP) to deliver a letter to Marcy's office during the rally.
