   Excuse me, Jack, she is running unopposed. She is guaranteed the seat. And she has only that mouthful of equivocality on the subject. Ands to District 12, the result is hopeful. The Dems should consider themselves fortunate to have as well as they did with such a colorless, odorless candidate. And the margin of victory is larger than Manchik's share of the vote. And the Democrats may not assume that if Manchik were not present in the race, 100% of his supporters would have even voted. With HRC's endorsement and all, if O'Connor had wanted to attract the attention of Green voters, he should have used something more than glittering generalities as a campaign platform.

   Sometimes, those who concentrate on competing for Republican votes are their own worst enemies.

Thanks for the information—though it doesn’t seem as clear cut as the post implies/claims.  Meanwhile, the failure of Dems and Greens to work together caused us to lose a chance to replace a Republican member of Congress, yesterday in Columbus.  Sometimes, we on the left are our own worst enemies…
