Please join the NWOPC to celebrate the original mother's day tradition and commomerate its anti war message. In 1870, Julia Warde Howe wrote Mother's Day Proclamation, an Appeal to womanhood throughout the world to rise up and demand the end of wars. Let's reclaim the original mother's day. A day for PEACE, a day against violence in all its forms.
Please join us at the corner of Secor and Central on Sunday May 13 from noon to 1:30 pm to display and reafirm this great message of peace. Please wear black.
