Perhaps Mike or others who've helped lead through this sad time already have planned something in observance of Steve, but if not, I suggest we set a time for a group phone for, say, Sunday night at 8 pm, and those interested in discussing what to do phone in. If there's some feeling to do this, I'll circ my conference number.

   Alice Hirt has offered her front porch/house for a gathering, if the inclination is in that direction, as opposed to a mass antiwar demo and observance, which I have seen mentioned.

   And you all can imagine how weird it is for me to try to remind myself that Steve, who inveterately turned out, and up, at every event possible, who covered us as a group, as a sometimes off-again faint movement, won't be seeing this message and showing up for this proposed phone meeting.
