Please spread the word about this event among your circles, agreed to at our March 28 Annual Gathering. We know the trip may be considerable for some of you, but if reasonable, please try to attend (and bring others) to help the collective Move to Amend cause! Toledo would be the largest city by far in Ohio to achieve ballot access if a few more thousands signatures can be obtained over the next 2 months.

TOLEDO BALLOT INITIATIVE DAY

Saturday, May 9

Toledo Move to Amend will be hosting supporters from around the state on Saturday, May 9 from 10:30-4:00 PM for a day of volunteer petition gathering for our local ballot initiative effort.  We are asking people to arrive around 10:30 AM on May 9.  We will have a short orientation from 10:30-11:00, distribute canvassing assignments and have folks go out and gather petitions from around 11:00 -2:30, reconvening at the meetup location between 2:30 and 3:30 for notarizing signatures, light refreshments, and camaraderie.

Parking is available behind the venue (don't be confused. It is a house). and on-street.

Here’s a little something about the Center for Servant Leadership:

 

We are putting together walking lists of registered voters in the surrounding neighborhoods.  We will be primarily canvassing neighborhoods, but will also let folks know about a few select petitioning locations and events happening on May 9th with potential for gathering signatures.
