NWOPC MEETING

 

Conference Call held on June 25, 2014 .Those who participated: Steve Miller, Jeff Klein, Karen Wolf.

 

ANTI-WAR STREET PROTEST: Sponsored by a libertarian group, it will be help on June 26 from 4:30 to 6:30 at Byrne and Glendale. We three plan on attending.

 

We will have a Stay Out of Iraq demo the next two Sunday's. Jeff Klein will get a banner stating:

 

            WE LEFT IRAQ LET'S NOT GO BACK. Jeff came up with that, it rhymes and everything. Sounds like a good chant too.

 

Steve sent out the message that when we start bombing Iraq, we will have a protest at Central and Secor at 5 PM. It will occur on the day we begin bombing if the announcement is made before noon, and on the next day if the announcement is made after noon.

 

July Demo Schedule:

 

        JULY 6:  COLLINGWOOD AND MONROE.

 

        JULY 13: ROUTE 25 AND THE ENTRANCE TO LEVIS COMMONS IN PERRYSBURG.

 

        JULY 20: ALEXIS AND LEWIS. 

 

        JULY 27: HEATHERDOWNS AND REYNOLDS.

 

HOPEFULLY WITH THE THOUGHT OF RE-ENTERING IRAQ, THE NUMBERS ATTENDING THE DEMOS WILL INCREASE.
