WE NEED YOU TO PACK THE ROOM - SERIOUSLY!

COME PREPARED with your supportive presence and 3 min. public comment (if you so choose) for the Public Safety Committee Meeting on Thursday, September 17 @ 4pm at 1 Gov. Center regarding the proposed FLOCK Expansion in District 2, including onto many of District 2’s school campuses.
The proposed ordinance introduced by Martinez is what is at issue:
"District Improvement Program - D2 School Safety Cameras Toledo City Council, Councilman Martinez, D2�
Authorizing the Mayor to enter into a five-year implementation and software subscription contract with Flock Group Inc. for exterior camera systems for various school locations in District 2; authorizing the expenditure of an amount not to exceed $85,000 from the Capital Improvement Fund District Improvement Program (DIP); authorizing the expenditure of an amount not to exceed $50,000 annually for subscription costs from the Capital Improvement Fund subject to annual appropriation; waiving the competitive bidding provisions of TMC Chapter 187; and declaring an emergency.
