The answer to your first question, Cindy, is yes. Riot is a felony where five people or more combine to commit a misdemeanor. Something like locking down to a door to block entrance on a college campus. If the purpose was to protest the Genocide, then it's riot, enhanced by unconstitutionally-determined, "antisemitism." That makes it a higher grade felony than it would otherwise be.
Yes, Judaism is being equated with Zionism. That's what the IHRA definition does.
If passed, the new law will be flatly unconstitutional, but that depends on the freakish whims of federal judges. As a matter of settled law, it is and should be held to be unconstitutional and stricken from the books. But especially in these post-modern times, the best legislature that money can buy passes illegal garbage routinely. It takes lots of resources to fight back and people have to put themselves in harm's way and risk a bogus charge of "riot."
