Kaptur voted YES on HR 9495, but the bill failed--luckily.

Appalling.

The 52 Democrats who voted in favor of a bill that would empower the Treasury Secretary to revoke nonprofit tax status of orgs based on judgment they're “terrorist-supporting” without providing any evidence whatsoever. There were concerns the bill would help government attack pro-Palestine groups (and hand enormous power to Trump to go after political enemies who disagree with him on whatever.)

Note Kaptur is on this list.

Luckily, the House vote, 256-145 to pass HR 9495, fell short of the 2/3 required to fast track the bill. It's dead for now.
