| The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation's largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today called on President Biden to fire “shadow president” administration official Brett McGurk and other "notoriously orientalist and consistently wrong" foreign policy advisers who have undermined President Biden's public calls for a ceasefire in Lebanon and Gaza while pursuing their own "deadly and delusional vision" of a Middle East permanently remade to the benefit of the Israeli government.
