I've found nothing further re the big bomb of Saturday night. So it either was a bunker buster, rare but not unheard of, and not radioactive, or something.
Overnight and now, in the daylight in the Middle East, the Israelis are again bombing the hell out of Lebanon. They did 80 air strikes in half an hour, which is at least 30 or 40 F-16s simultaneously bombing. Overall possibly more than 200 strikes. Photos of the explosions are huge, suggesting, again, that the Israelis are using bunker busters to collapse underground hiding places for personnel and weapons.
No large Hez casualties reported.
Hezbollah is returning fire, using somewhat longer distance missiles capable of hitting around Haifa, which is 35 miles south of the border. So they're continuing to try to use of the Iron Dome missiles Israel has. But I think they're confused, crippled, with the loss of major field commanders on Friday. I read that there are only two old-time Hez field generals from the founding days in the early 1980s left. It's clear that Israel is paying off informants or otherwise has local people gathering intelligence, that they were able to bomb the office suite 2 floors underground, beneath a parking garage, and kill about a dozen of Hez's major leaders.
So Hez is trying to come up with a wholly new secure system to communicate during heavy firing or fighting and picking new commanders. Israel is moving in for the kill and since no one ever ever ever ever tells them to stop what they're doing, they'll pull another unhinged atrocity soon and give us something to turn out for loud protest. May be something that brings Iran in.
And it may only be a few days or a week or so away.
So let's hold off on the zoom meeting at this point. In the meantime, we keep working at the other stuff and conserve our strength.

Friends, overnight -- literally -- things are moving in a dark direction. My point in writing is to advocate that we continue to shift gears in our demonstrations and messaging to "US Out of Middle East" and "No US 'Defense' of Israel!" And, of course, cleverer ways of stating that theme.
Also, we're going to have to follow the AMP lead and get out on the streets, likely quite soon, because Israel's new war front is rapidly expanding.
