CAIR: US support for Israel fuels anger across nation ahead of presidential election – Anadolu Agency
Robert McCaw, government affairs director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation's largest Muslim civil rights organization, told Anadolu that "in polling, we've seen Muslims support more third-party candidates this election season than any before," stating that there are over 700,000 voters across the country, including Muslim voters, who support the third party.
American Muslims aim to use every tool at their disposal to influence the elections and push for a change in US policy on Gaza. The Muslim population in swing states is expected to play a crucial role.

CAIR: My university is targeting students like me for protesting against Israel – TRT World
Earlier this month, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) designated GWU as an "institution of particular concern" for its targeted harassment of "Palestinian, Muslim, Arab, Jewish, and other students, faculty, and staff" who have been opposing the genocide of Palestinians in Gaza.
In this report, CAIR detailed widespread free speech violations and the rise of anti-Palestinian racism and Islamophobia across over 30 US colleges, with GWU ranking among the top three for "most egregious incidents of violence" alongside Emory and UCLA.
The situation at GWU was so severe that CAIR's Research & Advocacy Director, Corey Saylor, urged prospective students to consider other institutions where free speech and academic freedom are genuinely respected, rather than being empty promises.

In the weeks before graduation, pro-Palestinian protesters set up an encampment on the private grounds of Emory University, leading to 23 arrests, including 15 students and even faculty. President Gregory Fenves was criticized for what some said was a heavy-handed response, and he was the target of several no-confidence resolutions approved by undergraduate students and faculty members.
The Council on American-Islamic Relations then placed Emory among three universities “of particular concern” nationally. Emory hired an attorney to review its own actions.
