The attached press release was sent out a couple hours ago. The Attorney-General of Ohio is trying to pressure Cuyahoga County to continue purchasing Israel Bonds, the proceeds of which are being used to finance the genocide.
Also attached are the letter Attorney General Yost sent to Cuyahoga County in his bullying try to get them to not pass a policy that would forbid future county investment in foreign bonds, meaning, Israel Bonds. My response is attached, also.
Most of you won't, and don't have to, read all this rigamarole but let me point out one hilarious part of it. Attorney General Yost, known for grandstanding first and acquainting himself with the actual facts way later, did it again here. He fired off a letter to the Cuyahoga County officials, accusing them of breaking state law by "divesting" from Israel Bonds, when in fact the damned bonds cannot be sold on a secondary market and must be held until they mature. The County, much as it might like to, cannot "divest" from Israel Bonds. The only responsible way to protect the public's bad investment is to not buy any more of them. So all the sturm and drang from Yost is completely misdirected and he looks like the shallow politician and damnfool he is.
In addition, a regional director of the Anti-Defamation League sent a letter via an upscale Cleveland law firm to the County, threatening suit because, well, it's "anti-semitic" to cease propping up Israel. I've attached it and also, my explanation to Cuyahoga County officials that they can safely disregard the threat of suit as garbage.
Some new Cleveland friends I've made from this are kicking off a major statewide campaign against Israel Bonds. I'll be in touch with some of you -- and you know who you are -- to elevate the effort in grand style Israel is running through $270,000,000 a day for their evil genocide. We can't get the Big Fools in the US to stop providing weapons, so we're going to have to take away Israel's allowance instead.
