Memorial scheduled to observe John R. Durback's passing

John passed away last Monday at age 75. There will be a memorial on December 9 from 1 to 4 pm at the Reeb Mortuary on Main Street in Sylvania. One of the memories I have of John, who was forever kindly and congenial, and who espoused principles of peace and socialism, was his bringing John Michael Durback to some of the earliest NWOPC demonstrations after 9/11. And so John Michael became an enduring friend of NWOPC for more than 20 years and counting. That's called raising them right.
The obituary is below. Please note that the Durback family has asked that donations be made to NWOPC, at our new post office box address listed in the obituary.
