Dear NWOPC comrades,

Last September, we co-sponsored the Toledo Peace March for the International. Day of Peace.  We joined about 25 other local organizations to carry a peace pole around the Court House, reading along the way short peace/justice statements, and singing traditional peace songs.  The Social Justice Subcommittee of the local Association of U.S.Catholic Priests organizes the event.

Each year the International Day of Peace is observed around the world on Sept. 20th.  The UN General Assembly has declared this as a day devoted to strengthening the ideals of peace among all nations, and to promoting the 17 Sustainable Development Goals promulgated in 2015.

 Let me know whether or not you are in favor of co-sponsoring this event again this year.
