Protest Picnic in Promenade Park
Sunday June 26 1:30-3pm
In case of rain, we will reschedule.
We invite supporters of Preserve Promenade Park to gather
in the footprint of the planned Promedica Garage at 1:30 sharp on Sunday June 26. That area will
be designated by crime scene tape, "Crime Scene! Do Not Cross!" It’s a large space so bring a blanket or
lawn chairs, kids, dogs, backyard games, bright umbrellas for shade, balloons
etc…anything that looks like a picnic in the park. Bring a lunch. Socialize
with friends, new and old. This is why waterfront park should be preserved and how it should be used.
We need you to join us! Invite friends and send this email to potential supporters!
After this summer the space will be gone and the waterfront will be a Promedica Campus and parking facility. Great view if you work and park there, not much for the rest of us. Let's make a statement!
