Given recent headlines I think this issue (see attached) should be very timely and relevant.

On Wednesday, November 19, at St. Paul's United Methodist Church (Madison and 13) at 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm, the Northwest Ohio chapter of the ACLU is sponsoring a presentation by sentencing scholar Professor Jelani Jefferson-Exum titled Death Penalty on the Street.
The highly reported spate of recent police shootings of unarmed persons have initiated a national discussion over the use of lethal force by police officers. Professor Jefferson-Exum, from the College of Law at the University of Toledo, will be making a presentation regarding these shootings from a historical and analytical perspective.
