Comments or Questions: I was surprised to not see anything on your calendar regarding environmental, despite environmental issues mentioned in your vision statement. "Northwest Ohio Peace Coalition continues in building of a mass nonviolent movement for peace, social justice and environmental responsibility...."

Do you plan on doing any work regarding the recent water scare in Toledo? Questions that I'd like to know as a Toledo citizen is why is there not a secondary water supply for a metro area of 400,000?! Why hasn't Toledo responded to what appears to be YEARS of requests from OH EPA to clean up it's act?!

Does your group monitor trucks coming through Toledo on I-80 with nuclear waste or hazardous materials? Is there active following of these trucks by activists?

Also, do you know that there is the nationwide People's March for Climate on Sept. 21? I used to do a lot of peace/justice stuff with The Peace House in Oklahoma City, and they are active in environmental as well as peace issues. I tried to find your organization when I first moved back to MI several years ago, but it was closed up (was listed as being above the now-defunct Easy St Cafe). At least I now know where you are at!
