As part of the global week of action against HP, the NWOPC will be holding a demonstration on Sunday Dec 4 to protest the occupation and prison profiteer Hewlett Packard. The demonstration will be held at the corner of Secor and Central from noon to 1:30 pm.

Hewlett Packard supplies technology and services for Israeli apartheid and occupation, including:

• ID cards and a biometric ID system used at checkpoints to restrict Palestinian freedom of movement and enforce apartheid policies of different rights for different groups of people.
• IT infrastructure used by the Israeli Navy to enforce the siege on Gaza.
• Technology services for illegal Israeli settlements.
• Services and equipment to the Israeli Prison Service.

In the US HP contracts with the public and private prisons, the Department of Homeland Security, Immigration Customs and Enforcement, and more.
